Memories are for sharing
Now special life moments can be captured allowing memories to be shared with family, friends and future generations. A Patented, award winning, innovative line of products distributed by Memory Medallion Inc. allows you to make a permanent digital record online of any of your life's most treasured moments using your pictures, videos, stories and messages for creating your personalized remembrance.
You will be able to share this information at any remembrance location you wish to create such as an honor wall, a tombstone, a picture frame or plaque by easily attaching the small, weather-proof, self-adhering, thin, laser-etched Memory Medallion to this location. The story content you create is then viewable by anyone with a smartphone. The camera on most all smartphones will be able to "read" the Memory Medallion's special code that will activate the story information for viewing on the phone. The phone uses any standard 2D barcode app that now comes standard on most all smartphones and is easily added for free by those that don’t.
Any special occasion such as weddings, graduations, births and special accomplishments also can be remembered this way using these products that include the option of a silver, heart-shaped locket or a stainless steel dog tag. “This latest version of the Memory Medallion has been designed to make it easy for anyone to create a special remembrance,” says Glenn Toothman, the inventor of the product. “It is done online by the customer at their leisure, it can be edited at anytime and it has been made extremely affordable as some models are under $80.”
One customer, Donna Buchanan, from Waynesburg, Pennsylvania shared that their family has created at least 14 Medallion stories for placement at various remembrance locations in their area and that family members share in the creation of these story profiles by each being able to go online using the special access code for building the story that comes with the purchase. She says that the family chose to share these story-building passwords among all the family allowing each person to contribute their special memory related to the person of interest. The special passwords that come with each purchase are only needed for access to the story-building portion of the Memory Medallion and once the user clicks PUBLISH in this process the story content then becomes linked to the Medallion piece at its location and is openly readable from anyone’s smartphone. Mrs. Buchanan states, “Our family now always makes arrangements for a Memory Medallion to be located at any loved-one’s location of remembrance because it adds so much more than only leaving a name and dates for the future to see. It doesn’t cost that much and it’s easy for us to do.”
Dave Bishop, a representative from McCleskey Mausoleum Corporation located in the Atlanta area, says “This new version of the Memory Medallion is what our market customers are seeking, something that allows for affordable, personalized and customized remembrance and memorialization. Having something that allows families to create, at their own pace a remembrance profile that can share so many types of information such as video, music, stories and pictures will be a powerful addition to this industry.”
Toby Fancher represents a high school sports booster organization and shares that his group has elected to use the Memory Medallion as a fund raising opportunity by placing Medallions on their “Raider Wall of Pride” in exchange for any $100 contribution that then allows persons or companies to create Medallions featuring the remembrance of alumni, teachers or special people connected to the school’s history. “The flexibility that Memory Medallion offers to our donors by knowing its content can be edited at anytime and is done by them on their time schedule is making this a special project for us.”
